This time, I will provide information on accommodation (hotel) in the Tokyo area for foreign visitors to Japan.

If you have already been to Japan many times, you may be aware of the various features, but we will provide information for beginners.

You can access downtown Tokyo from Narita Airport or Haneda Airport.

It takes about 1 hour by train from Narita Airport to the city center and about 30 minutes by Keikyu Line or monorail from Haneda Airport.





As you already know, the Olympics and Paralympics will take place in the summer of 2020. Therefore, famous hotels in central Tokyo are expected to be flooded with reservations.
So, we will introduce areas where travel time to the city center is short, but reservations are relatively easy and prices are low.

The first is Kawasaki City. This city is placed at south side from center of Tokyo. It takes about 15 minutes by train to the center of Tokyo.

The second is Ichikawa and Funabashi. It is located on the east side of the city center. All are 15 minutes by train.

The third is Komae, Chofu, Mitaka, Musashino city. These are located on the west side of the city center. It takes about 30 minutes by train.

These areas are relatively cheaper than Tokyo’s 23 wards.
However, it is advisable to make an early reservation for the Olympics and Paralympics, as the time is approaching.

Information on accommodation in Himeji area for beginners

Himeji is visited by many foreigners for sightseeing. Because Himeji Castle is very famous.
Then, at Himeji Station, the Shinkansen passes 300km/h and is famous as the fastest station on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen in Japan.

Himeji is not a big city, but besides Himeji Castle, you can feel the Japanese culture because there are Shoshazan Engyoji (Buddhist temples).

Shoshazan-Engyoji is well known place as the filmed in the movie Last Samurai in the past.
Tom Cruise was main cast at Last Samurai.

The closest hotel to the station is Nikko Himeji, less than a minute walk south of Himeji Station.

マークシートを塗りつぶす際に便利な文房具

こんにちは，MOTOHICOです．

大学，高校など入試の季節になってきました．

試験ではマークシート方式の場合が多々ありますが，今回はマークを塗りつぶす際に大変便利な文房具をご紹介します．

芯の太さが1.3mmあり，シャープペンシルなので，使い続けても太さが変わらないのが良いです．

YoutubeやRadikoの通信量を使い放題にする方法

こんにちは，MOTOHICOです．

いま私は日々便利グッズのクリエイターとして活動していますが，以前は電車で通勤する毎日でした．有名な某携帯会社を契約して，そのSIMをスマホに入れ，電車の中でYoutubeを見たり，本を読みながらRadikoを聴いたりしていたのですが，すぐに通信料の上限に達してしまい，大容量プランを契約しては毎月高い金額を払っていました．

もちろん，毎日ブラウザで検索したり，LINEしたり，メールしたりしますが，この通信量は動画などに比べればわずかなものなので，よく使うものが安く契約できるお得なものがあれば良いなを思っていました．



いろいろと探してみたのですが，使い放題の契約にすれば上限が無いので，家でも通勤中でもYoutubeを見たり，Radikoを聴いたりできます．

This time it is information on Osaka area, but next time we are thinking about Tokyo area.

First, Osaka is roughly divided into two areas. One is on the north side (called Kita) and the other is on the south side (called Minami).

You can move Kita and Minami on the subway Midosuji Line. About 15 minutes.

As a general impression, Kita has many luxury hotels and Minami has many reasonable hotels.



Kita area

Kita has Osaka Station and Shin-Osaka Station on the Shinkansen, which is a convenient area for traveling to Tokyo, Nagoya and Hakata by Shinkansen. You can move to Kyoto by local train (Special Rapid or Rapid service).

Namba Station and Tennoji Station are placed in Minami, and access from Kansai International Airport is very convenient by Nankai Electric Railway (Express “Rapit”) and JR Express (Haruka).

Minami area

大学での研究活動や，会社で研究開発する際に，一点ものの金属部品を外注したいなというときがあると思います．学内の工場や社内の加工部門に依頼をすることも可能と思いますが，納期がめちゃめちゃ遅かったり，加工機が無くて作れない場合があると思います．早く作って実験したいときに，ここでもたつくと，テンションがとても下がってしまいます．

金属部品にこだわらず，樹脂部品でもよいということであれば，3Dプリンタを購入してしまうことも考えられます．最近では10万円程度で精度の良い部品を作ることが可能です．3DCADでモデリングして，退出する際にデータを3Dプリンタに入れて稼働されば，翌朝に部品が完成してしまいます．

金属部品で精度の良いものを作成したいけれど，どうしようかとお悩みの方結構多いと思います．「この部品さえ精密に作れれば科研費の研究も捗るのに」とか，「この部品がもっと精密にできたら性能が良くなるのに」ということをよくお聞きします．
